Dr Tatiana Pavlovskaya – with the last name being a bit tricky, we’ll stick with Dr Tatiana – is the owner and principal GP at Leeton Family Clinic. Her journey into medicine is one of resilience, passion, and dedication to caring for people.
Born in the former Soviet Union, Dr Tatiana grew up with a dream to become a doctor and help others. After completing her medical studies in Siberia, she returned to her birthplace of Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, to practise medicine—guided by the belief that illness knows no nationality and everyone deserves care.
More than 20 years ago, love brought her to Leeton, NSW, where she faced the challenge of requalifying as a doctor while raising three young children. With determination, she completed her fellowship and built a career dedicated to the local community.
Just before the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr Tatiana took on ownership of Leeton Family Clinic. She has since worked tirelessly to shape the practice around her philosophy of holistic care—treating the person, not just the illness. She takes the time to understand each patient’s needs, lifestyle, and goals, ensuring care that supports not only the patient but also their family.
Today, Leeton Family Clinic proudly carries her vision forward under the motto: “Holistic care for your family.”
Dr Shingai Garutsa completed her medical degree (MBBS) at the University of Zimbabwe before moving to Australia in February 2021. After a short time in Melbourne, she relocated to Leeton in October that year and has since embraced the warmth and community spirit of the township she now proudly calls home.
In 2024, Dr Garutsa achieved her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). She enjoys all aspects of general practice and is passionate about providing holistic, compassionate care to her patients.
Fluent in both English and Shona, Dr Garutsa is known for her kindness, understanding, and strong commitment to family and community. Guided by her Christian faith, she values building meaningful connections and supporting her patients with empathy and respect.
Outside of medicine, Dr Garutsa enjoys reading, exercising, and spending time with her family and friends.
